Worship and Arts Ministries

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord."

Psalm 150:6

Worship and Arts play an important role in the life of Trinity Presbyterian Church. From corporate weekly worship celebrations to individual times of prayer and praise ... From energetic students clapping and singing to a group of men raising their hearts and voices early on a Friday morning ... we believe, as the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 92:1 "It is good to praise the Lord and make music to Your name O Most High ..."

Get Involved!

For those who have musical and creative gifts, there are a number of opportunities to get involved:

Worship Choir rehearses weekly each Wednesday 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the church, and sings in both worship services every other week. To join, you don't need to be a soloist, but being able to carry a tune helps! Choral music ranging from contemporary to classic is sung for the purpose of glorifying God and encouraging the church and community.

Vocal Ensembles and Worship Teams provide auditioned singers opportunities to lead in worship through a variety of musical styles.

For children there are seasonal musical events. These special events not only enhance our Worship Services, but provide great outreach opportunities for our community.

Instrumentalists are encouraged to participate...rhythm players help lead worship each Sunday. Brass, Wind and String players will find opportunities for special music features and accompaniment.

Multimedia - Did you know there are opportunities to use your media 'expertise' or desires in service of the Lord and the Trinity family? Each week, in worship, as well as other times throughout the year, our Multimedia Team uses their talents and experience helping facilitate worship through sound, lighting and video presentation. If you have a heart to serve and an interest in this area, YOU could be of great value to our team. In order to keep anyone from being "over-scheduled," more technicians are needed.

Don't worry if you don't have specific training for our gear. We'll be happy to train you! For more information, contact Nathan in the church office, or talk with him at the sound booth on Sunday mornings.

Fine Arts ... All expressions of creativity are from God, who alone is the creator. It is by His gift to us that we create and express ourselves artistically. Periodically, there will be opportunities for our 'artists' to display their God-given talents and works, through displays on our campus. One particular venue takes place each year at our Fall Fun Festival, where the Worship Center is transformed into a gallery of sorts, displaying all types of artwork ... representing God's creativeness shown through His people at Trinity.

Ushers and Greeters are vital to our worship experience each week. Would you be willing to serve in a ministry where part of your job description includes smiling, talking and meeting new people each week? If so, you need to be serving as an usher or greeter! This is not a commitment for life ... you'll find yourself on a rotating schedule with lots of flexibility. To sign up, call Lisa.
